“I want to build fusion-powered rockets — how do I start?" At only age 9, JC B. was working in a physics lab in Lebanon, sparked by his curiosity to understand the universe. The professor put it bluntly: "You need to immigrate". It was in this exchange that JC learned that to build something big, he had to move west. Advisors include: Former Under Secretary for Nuclear Security, U.S. Department of Energy and Administrator, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), The Honorable Lisa Gordon-Hagerty. Former Director for Defense Intelligence within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security and former Director of the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) responsible for nuclear treaty monitoring, Major General Aaron Prupas (ret.). Nuclear pulsed power expert and former President of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society, and author of Foundations of Pulsed Power Technology, University of New Mexico Professor Jane Lehr. Last week Stanford University’s SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory hosted Fuse CEO, JC B., and other industry, government, and academic leaders to talk about the commercialization of extreme energy sources.
