From day one we said ‘Wherever work happens, Guru should be there…’ It was one of our founding principles: the information you need should be at your fingertips. Not hidden away in a different tab. That’s why the first version of Guru was a Chrome extension. (This allows Guru to be leveraged inside whatever tab you’re working in.) Then messaging apps emerged as another place where work gets done. So we built integrations with Slack and Microsoft Teams. Now the world of work is evolving again. And it may be the biggest shift we’ve seen in decades… Two years ago, ChatGPT didn’t exist publicly. Now I use it every day. So does the team at Guru. So do many of our customers. It has quickly become a new place where work gets done. So we thought: Guru should be there. And starting today, Guru is there. Now you can securely and privately access your company’s internal information directly in ChatGPT. The information might live in Guru’s knowledge base or in any of the hundreds of apps Guru can connect to, like Google Drive or Salesforce. It doesn’t matter where it’s stored. Guru will find it and use it to give you the most helpful answers possible. This not only makes it easier to find the information you need, it makes it easier to put that information to use. For example: You might want to email a customer about a new feature. You could ask ChatGPT to create a draft based on customer information stored in Salesforce, product information stored in Guru, and the conversations that took place on a recent customer call. This integration is all about combining the power of a company's collective knowledge with the power of ChatGPT and making it available at every employee’s fingertips. It’s called Guru GPT and it’s available now in the ChatGPT marketplace (you’ll find a link in the comments). When you have a chance to use it, I’d love to hear what you think!
