More exciting news for Inspectify from Inman this month! We're honored to be named a finalist for the Inman Innovators Awards for Company of the Year and our CEO, Josh Jensen, being a finalist for Innovator of the Year! These awards recognize companies and visionaries driving the future by achieving remarkable milestones in the industry. We are proud to be named among the most innovative leaders and companies in our space.

Excited to share something that we have quietly been working on over the past two years. It's no secret that I see home inspections as by far the most complex and comprehensive dataset that exists on homes today and that there is massive opportunity to build more intelligent and bespoke products for homeowners based upon that data. Today, we are excited to share our first major step towards that vision: The Inspectify Inspection Warranty. This product is unlike any warranty that exists today. By harnessing the power of structured inspection data, we are providing protection to homeowners a kin to a home warranty at no additional cost to the inspection; lowering the cost of homebuying by up to $800 in some markets. This is achieved through creating a risk adjusted underwriting model based upon the actual age and pre-existing conditions of the major appliances in the home. We've done this through collaboration with our partners at HSB - Hartford Steam Boiler, a true innovator in appliance protection. Starting in select states this month, consumers are now receiving peace of mind when inspecting their home with Inspectify. Big thanks to Craig and Inman for helping share this with the real estate world today. This is just the beginning of our next Chapter as not just simply an inspection technology provider, but also a data platform to help our customers make better decisions and achieve better outcomes.

This month, we’re proud to spotlight one of our fantastic inspectors, James Guenther! James owns and operates Guenther Inspections in the Charleston, SC, area. James has been inspecting for more than eight years, with experience and a background in commercial property evaluations, before moving to residential inspections full-time. James has been working with us for over two years and has helped us immensely as we’ve grown. When asked about working with Inspectify, James said, “I got referred to Inspectify by a friend and fellow home inspector here in South Carolina in 2022. Although initially it took some effort to learn the software, I’m very comfortable now and have enjoyed taking on many inspections.” As you may know, we always ask our inspectors to share a story from the field. This time, we regretted it as James shared all our worst nightmares with us: “Recently, I did an inspection where colonies of bedbugs had taken over the house. There was one bedroom that looked like black growth was taking over the walls from the top down.” Have we mentioned how much we respect and appreciate our inspectors? This month, we’re pleased to spotlight inspector Antonio Buchanan, who has over 12 years of experience inspecting the Rex, GA, area. Antonio has been an immense help over the years, helping Inspectify develop and streamline our winterization/de-winterization services, and we love working with him! When asked about his experience partnering with Inspectify, Antonio said: “In my three plus years working with Inspectify, doing property inspection, I've had the opportunity to grow my business, doing a wide variety of property inspections. As well as learning different techniques with various software.” Of course, we also asked Antonio about an unusual experience he’s had on the job. He shared, “The worst thing that I've seen as an inspector is a property consumed by vegetation to the point of barely visible to the eye and used as a solid waste dumpsite.” Yikes! Five years of licensed home inspection experience coupled with an impressive 17 years in the construction industry, Blake exemplifies unmatched expertise and meticulous attention to detail. We're grateful for our collaboration with Blake, not only for his exceptional inspection ability but for his readily available guidance. He's a cornerstone for clarity, always available to answer questions and elaborate on his findings helping grow our team's knowledge. This March, we have the pleasure of highlighting the team at Crown Home Inspections in Kansas City! John and Janet Clason, owners of Crown Home Inspections, have been married for more than 25 years and have been inspecting for 21 of those. John has been president of the Regional ASHI Board of Directors and is currently treasurer. Joining the Clasons on the Crown Home Inspections team are John Slater, Zach Nash, and Travis Hicks. The entire team has an impressive array of certifications from ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). When asked about their experience working with Inspectify, Janet said, "It has been so easy to work with Inspectify. They communicate clearly with inspection details and requirements.
