Avoid Recruitment & Hiring Scams & Fraud! When applying for a position with any company, stay alert and be educated on the company you are looking to interview with. Avoid fraudulent activity by scammers who claim to be representing Global Casino Operations (GCO), or an approved hiring partner associated with GCO. To protect yourself from scams and fraud, check the list below to become familiar with GCO’s application process. YOU WILL: - Be required to apply via our oceancasinojobs.com website or through an approved hiring partner, which are the only two ways to apply for a shipboard job with Global Casino Operations (GCO). - Be asked to create a profile. - Receive communication from GCO via our recruitment website. YOU WILL NOT: - Be asked to provide us with any financial information. - Be asked to pay any money to GCO or an approved hiring partner during the recruitment and hiring process. Scammers try to cast a wide net by including little or no specific information. Always be wary of emails which seem overly generic. - Incorrect domain names or email addresses. - Check for misspellings of Global Casino Operations email addresses (approved emails will come from @carnival.com). - Offer of employment without physical interviews. - Our recruiters will often ask for in-person interviews – which will either be a series of virtual interviews over video or in person interviews with one of our approved partners (see list above). - Request for financial information or payments. - Our recruiters will never ask prospective employees for payment to apply for a position or as a condition of employment. - The “perfect” job. A job posting which states extremely high compensation for a position that requires “no skills or experience,” if it seems too good to be true, it is likely fraudulent.
