Thanks to Globalstar VAR Ovinto, a transatlantic rowing team was able to recover their boat after having to abandon it due to heavy weather during the Talisker rowing competition. The OvintoSat unit provided vital tracking of the unmanned boat, allowing the team to safely retrieve it with the help of an ocean vessel in Novia Scotia.
