To keep the Boys & Girls Clubs of The Columbia Basin operational through the end of 2024, Group14 donated $85,000 and challenged local partners in Moses Lake to match the amount. Today, we’re proud to announce that with our partners, we’ve reached a total donation of $175,000, which will support at least seven Boys & Girls Clubs programs, four extended care sites and more than 600 young individuals. Thanks to the community’s efforts, these individuals will have access to academic and homework support, social and emotional learning, nutrition and a safe place to go after school. “This donation is not only about securing after-school care and resources - it’s also about investing in the future of our community’s children. It’s a proud moment, both as a Moses Lake native and a Group14 employee,” said Don Kersey, Group14 BAM-2 factory plant manager. This donation is part of Group14’s broader community engagement program, which seeks to enable careers in clean energy through equitable access to education and job opportunities. We had a blast flipping burgers and dishing out snow cones for the Boys & Girls Clubs of The Columbia Basin at their barbeque last week! ☀️ Alongside Grant County Commissioner Rob Jones, we kicked off the summer serving more than 200 meals between the McGraw and North Elementary clubhouses. The Boys & Girls Club is an important organization helping young people in the Columbia Basin reach their full potential. We’re proud to support their work in tandem with our fellow volunteers at this great event!
