Last week, Shareholder Danielle Devito-Hurley participated in the 2024 Moments to Movements Hackathon hosted by Diversity Lab. This prestigious event brought together over 100 legal industry leaders to develop new initiatives that will cultivate inclusive and equitable law firms and legal departments. Danielle and her team, “Seal Team 7,” spent five months meticulously designing an innovative and collaborative work allocation platform that aims to ensure that high-quality, career-enhancing work is equitably distributed among law firm associates, while simultaneously deepening and strengthening client relationships. The Hackathon overflowed with brilliant ideas, but Danielle and her team’s innovation captivated the audience, earning them the “Crowd Favorite” award. This recognition underscores the immense value this tool would bring to law firm talent management systems. We are so proud of Danielle and her team for their hard work, creativity, and dedication to creating an inclusive legal profession where all attorneys have the opportunity to thrive. Congratulations Danielle and the rest of Seal Team 7, which includes Christina Graham, Shannon McNeal, Ashlei Ferguson, Jay Williams, Evan Parness, Michelle Nickel, Nichole Valeyko, Rosa Nunez and Amie Siebert!
