Congratulations to our project team and partners on the completion of the new UNMH Behavioral Health Crisis Center! It was wonderful to see the amazing turnout of HB team members, elected officials, and community members to celebrate this achievement. With 50,000 sq ft of modern service spaces, this eagerly awaited facility will bridge a gap for behavioral health care in New Mexico. We are so proud of our part in making this project a reality. UNM Hospital and Bernalillo County celebrated the ribbon-cutting of the new Behavioral Health Crisis Center today. This facility will provide vital support to adults with severe mental health conditions and co-occurring diagnoses, filling a critical gap in care. Hundreds of community partners, elected officials, and hospital team members gathered to celebrate the innovative $40 million facility, which will officially open on June 25.
