◦ The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board has launched a remarkable initiative to combat the environmental and health hazards posed by single-use plastics. ◦ The scheme offers citizens a financial reward of up to Rs. 10,000 for providing credible information on the storage, transport, and sale of banned plastic items. ◦ This effort aims to bolster public involvement in enforcing the #ban, which covers 19 single-use plastic items. ◦ Information leading to the confiscation of significant quantities (50 kg or more) of banned plastics will be rewarded. ◦ This initiative not only promotes public awareness but also strengthens the enforcement of #plastic ban, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment for all. #singleuseplastic #Rajasthan #sup #cpcb #plastics
