    What if 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 HRIS launch guaranteed 90% data completeness in 48h, for 450+ people? 🪄 I know it’s possible because we did it, with a little bit of magic… Besides those on the project, few people knew we were leaving our old HRIS for HiBob. We had the element of surprise 😏 — and we decided to capitalise on it. We planted a mole in our population. Literally. His name was Tule. Bob, Tule. Bob was announced as a new joiner at the company All Hands. He had a manager, a team, an email address and a Slack profile. He started off asking questions most new joiners have about our old HRIS in our #ask-px Slack channel. But he grew frustrated at the old HRIS limitations, and things escalated quickly. Within a week he’d posted across multiple channels and culminated in an email to the whole company 😱 asking us to look into a better HRIS 𝖳̶𝗎̶𝗅̶𝖾̶ tool. By that point, our people were (rightly) raising concerns • Asking how they could help Bob get his bearings • Questioning how reliable our hiring process was 😆 • Wondering if Bob was the ultimate troll, or even an AI bot We asked Bob to speak for himself at the next All Hands. That’s when Jennifer Campbell, People Experience Designer & Agent of Chaos extraordinaire, revealed her true self. It was her, she was Bob Tule all along. 🧑🏫 She then explained: • That everything Bob asked and complained about, had been raised by a real employee in the past. • How our new HRIS HiBob was gonna make all our lives incrementally better. • And what we needed from people to make that happen — data completeness. Jennifer also made sure there was merch at stake for whoever would complete their profiles first 😉 Our Bob Tule guerrilla marketing campaign lasted just one week undercover. Some people were flat out in uproar about it. We’d created controversy, yes, but it meant people were talking about it! That’s how we scored big on our HRIS launch. 👀 The best part of it all? We didn’t invent Bob Tule. JooBee Yeow, PhD's team created this campaign first https://lnkd.in/eaMjNZsj 100% of her people were able to use HiBob in 1 week, with 100% engagement of the platform (minus a few on holidays) 🤯 We simply took inspiration from their work. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞. 🙋 Lauren Gomes and I love 𝗁̶𝖺̶𝗏̶𝗂̶𝗇̶𝗀̶ ̶𝖿̶𝗎̶𝗇̶ driving results in creative ways so much that we’re building a 3-part series “People Teams as Marketing Teams” workshops 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 to join, we’re still building them and will keep you posted when they’re ready!     June has come to an end, and our #lgbtqia #erg (Employee Resource Group), HiPride, put together some incredible activities across our global sites for #Pride2024. But doing the work that allows your people to bring their authentic selves to work is far from over! Standing up for underrepresented communities doesn’t end (or begin!) with June. It’s a critical year-round job. To quote our blog post about #nonbinary #genderinclusion, "Truly modern and inclusive workplaces create environments where people feel safe and encouraged to actively and equally participate in company culture no matter who they are and how they identify."
