As part of the 2024 JJ Saldana Heat and Smoke Relief Fund we are asking attendees to donate supplies that will help Idaho farmworkers steer clear from heat stress. As temperatures reach the triple digits, they need our help, and this is a unique way to contribute to the cause. The U.S. Department of Commerce and Rogue Valley Microdevices (RVM) signed a non-binding memorandum of terms. Under the Chips and Science Act over 6.7 million dollars will be awarded in proposed funding. "As one of the only U.S. based MEMS foundries, RVM is positioned to support the U.S. semiconductor ecosystem with its 300mm MEMS foundry services. President Biden’s Bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act is ensuring the U.S. continues to lead in technological leadership and RVM’s facility in Florida will support this effort,” said Under Secretary of Commerce for Standards and Technology and National Institute of Standards and Technology Director, Laurie E.
