And here we go.. Super excited to be a finalists for Google's Single Use Plastic Challenge. We sincerely thanks Google and their amazing sustainability team for this amazing opportunity. As part of this Challenge, we had the opportunity to test our edible cutlery at select Google cafes and micro kitchens. The results were well received with excitement from Googlers eating their cutlery (after dessert!) Yes, now you can EAT your SPOON after eating with it! Our incrEDIBLE cutlery is vegan, non-gmo, natural and come in fun flavors. Each spoon can stay firm for up to 25 minutes in hot foods and 45 minutes in cold desserts. After years of R&D, we invented the process of making edible cutlery at scale due to the lack of true eco-friendly alternatives. Why edible? Only 11% of the plastics are recycled, and 9% of the existing compostable cutlery is composted correctly (issues due to sorting, non-existent facilities and greenwashing). Our edible spoons can decompose in days similar to food in a landfill in case you are not hungry to finish eating your spoon!
