Some of our AGMRI users are showing fog in their area....you know what that means.... Foggy mornings like today present the opportunity for tar spot and other diseases to spread in corn, especially where leaves are likely to stay wetter for a longer period of time, like areas along a windbreak, low-lying areas where morning fog tends to hang around, etc. According to Iowa State University, for tar spot spores to germinate and infect, the leaf surface must be wet for an extended period of time. Use AGMRI to spot areas in the field that might need closer inspection so you can diagnose and quickly take any needed action. Intelinair Territory Manager Demitrius Kikalos walks through one field in Indiana where AGMRI showed a 10 bushel an acre yield loss due to #nutrientdeficiency and explains how you can create a prescription to make a variable rate application in #AGMRI with #NVision. #cropintelligence #agmri #nvision #nitrogenmanagement #cropyield #grow24 #nutrientdeficiency

Farmers are using #AGMRI to monitor for #nutrientdeficiency and check for a good stand of weed-free corn. How does it work? AGMRI's #nitrogenmanagement tool, with its layers and growth stage estimation feature, calculates potential bushel loss from nitrogen deficiency. This helps farmers take timely action to maximize yields. Kevin Krieg and Bob Ryan of NVisionAg discuss the collaboration between AGMRI and NVision in the third part of our video series on nitrogen management. This segment highlights how AGMRI and #NVision work together to identify nitrogen deficiencies and how the tool predicts potential yield loss so timely action can be taken. Check out the AGMRI and NVision collaboration in action in this demo. #nvision #nitrogenmanagement #dataanalytics #agmri https://bit.ly/4btGt2K
