🔥 #IAFF members across the 2nd District came together for the 2024 Behavioral Health Symposium at the Kansas City Local 42 union hall. Speakers discussed the impact of behavioral health on #firefighters' mental health and well-being. They explored a range of topics, including #PTSD and trauma, substance use, anxiety and depression, #sleep deprivation, #cancer, and emotional regulation. The event also highlighted the resources available through the IAFF Center of Excellence (COE) for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery, and COE staff presented on several topics.
