I just want to thank the entire Intersport & Rocket Mortgage Classic team for this memorable experience of an internship. Thank you Noelle Johnston & Audrey Renn for all that you do and for guiding me through this internship. Your work and your position on the team does not go unnoticed. I want to give a special shoutout to Brittany Jeanis & Carman McMahon of whom I worked closely with. Thank you both for sharing your knowledge with me while also being a great teacher. I can honestly say that with the retained information and skills acquired throughout this internship, not only can I confidently apply myself to any career in sports, but it will be useful in my everyday life. Another special shoutout belongs to Jacob Mortiere. Thank you for even informing me about this internship a year ago. I did not get the position the first time, but followed back up with it a year later and got it the second go round. As I wrap up my Intersport internship with the Rocket Mortgage Classic, I'm still unable to wipe the grin off my face. From managing the Honorary Observer program to supporting our sponsorship efforts, I've had the opportunity to absorb so much over the past few months. This tournament is a well-oiled machine. Without all the work behind the scenes, the Rocket Mortgage Classic and the City of Detroit wouldn't look nearly as glamorous as they do on TV. When a massive piece of signage needs to be moved on a 90-degree day or the rope line stakes need to be pounded into the ground while it's pouring rain, this team leans in and gets it done. Huge thank you to Tom McInerney, Amelia Albanelli, and Vincent Cipriano for always pointing me in the right direction and ensuring I was soaking up as much as I could along the way. Shoutout to Audrey Renn and Noelle Johnston for leading a killer intern program that has given me five of the most memorable months of my life. Special thanks to Brittany Jeanis and Jason Langwell for their leadership, and the RMC team at large. This group of people is world-class and I'm honored to have learned from you all. Thank you for all the lessons, laughs, and lifelong memories.
