#ITAisHiring a Data Analyst! ITA, a technology-enabled professional services company, is looking for a talented Data Analyst to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Washington, D.C. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work in the National Capitol Region, with occasional on-site duties in D.C. Key Responsibilities: 🔷 Leverage expertise in statistical analysis and complex data mining to extract valuable insights from data. 🔷 Design and deploy data-driven solutions focused on advanced analytical methods, data modeling, and visualizations. 🔷 Support CBP leadership with objective data and insights, contributing to Homeland Security projects within the Office of Trade. 🔷 Utilize scientific methodologies, algorithms, and systems to collect and extract relevant data using technology, dashboards, statistical software, and reporting systems. 🔷 Apply data management and analysis techniques to study, interpret, develop, and report on CBP operational, policy, and resource data. 🔷 Collaborate closely with program offices within CBP organizational elements to integrate data, tools, and analytics projects aligned with CBP Office of Trade priorities. Qualifications: 🔷 3-10 years of relevant experience in applied research, big data analytics, statistics, applied mathematics, data science, computer science, operations research, or a related quantitative discipline. 🔷 Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline. 🔷 Demonstrated knowledge of data mining methods, databases, data visualization, and machine learning.
