A marvelous March We had a fun-filled month celebrating Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. We had games for our patients and employees and enjoyed treats donated by Starbucks, Dunkin' and La Baguette in Norman. We also hosted a week of themed T-shirts, and ended the month with a JDMC talent show for patients and employees! #ddawarenessmonth2024 #jdmcmoments #communitygenerosity

Socks of support 🧦 Employees from our rehab department showed off their sensational socks in honor of World Down Syndrome Day. People across the world show their support for the day by wearing silly, fun, striped or mismatched socks. Why socks? Socks help promote the celebration of differences. Another reason for the sock celebration is that striped socks look like chromosomes and Down syndrome is the third replication of the 21st chromosome. #worlddownsyndromeday #jdmcteam

Celebrating Dr. James Fields 🥳🎉 We recently honored Dr. James Fields for his service to the center. Dr. Fields is stepping away from working as the attending physician for the center after 41 years. However, he'll continue to serve the center in other capacities. Dr. Fields is a pediatric physician who began practice in Norman in 1982.
