Happy 4th of July! Today, we celebrate the day in 1776 when the Declaration of Independence was adopted, marking our nation's freedom. Enjoy the festivities, and have a safe Independence Day! Janicki hosted a barbecue lunch for Washington employees at our Hamilton site yesterday to celebrate the holiday. La Conner Seafood and Prime Rib catered a delicious lunch with ribs, pulled chicken, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and all the fixings. There was also a car show in the parking lot for employees to display their antique and unique vehicles. Our Utah crews had an incredible time watching the Warriors Over the Wasatch Air Show this past weekend! 🛩️ Janicki employees and their families gathered at our Layton facility to view the thrilling aerial displays. From the Thunderbirds to F-35’s and a jaw-dropping B-2 Bomber, the skies were alive with excitement! ✈️ There were also several activities for everyone to enjoy between the shows, including mini golf, the Go Brix truck, and Balloon Man Shan with face painting and balloon twisters. This past weekend, our JIBS club hosted a trail work party to improve the 911 trail at Galbraith Mountain. Club members worked on the trail to build berms, jumps, clear brush and establish proper water drainage. They also hauled a grill up the mountain to cook lunch and went for a group ride afterward to celebrate the club's first anniversary. Great work, JIBS members! JIBS is a bike and snow sports maintenance shop and club that is open to Janicki employees. The shop offers rental bikes and all the necessary tools for bike maintenance, repairs, and tuning skis and snowboards. The club meets at Galbraith Mountain trails for weekly mountain bike rides. #Janicki #JIBS #Volunteers #WMBC
