We're thrilled to welcome Tapestry VC and Patrick Murphy to Team Ladder, and to deepen our partnership with Doss Cunningham and LivWell Ventures! We're fortunate to be in a position to be selective when it comes to capital partners, and we can't think of two better humans to have at the table and in our corner. 💪 💪 Grateful for the trust and support from Patrick/Tapestry and Doss/LivWell and the incredible group of people* who participated in our Series A! 🙏 2023 has been a transformative year for Ladder but this really is just the beginning! 🚀 * Brian Goldberg - Redbud Brands, Carson Vey - Range Group, Connor Zwick - Brainstorm Ventures, Des Traynor, Leo Resig, Alex Cohen, Codie A. I love stories of scrappy marketing efforts that generate buzz and capture people’s attention without directly paying for that attention. Here’s a really fun way Ladder CEO Gregory Stewart did just that... (link to the full podcast episode in the comments)

Thank you Nick Wingfield (senior editor @ The Information) for including us (Ladder) in 'The Information’s Top Tech-Adjacent Gifts for 2023' 🙏 ... ...featuring "25 gift picks tested and loved by Team Information". The Information’s Top Tech-Adjacent Gifts for 2023 - Nov 24 2023 Fitness: The Digital Personal Trainer Ladder, from $30/month -- "Unlike the trainers of some other popular fitness apps, including Peloton, Ladder’s personal online coaches seem to listen to their trainees’ feedback. They exploit whatever equipment you have at home or at the gym, including kettlebells, dumbbells, TRX bands, power-lifting racks and so on. The app matches you with a coach based on a questionnaire about your fitness objectives, the number of days you plan to devote to working out, and your exercise preferences, including Pilates, biking and interval strength training. There’s a community forum where you can give feedback to your coaches on their workouts, and they really seem to respond to it. My coach, for one, acknowledged complaints about an especially cruel section of a previous workout—five minutes of burpees, without rest—and said he wouldn’t do it again."— Nick Wingfield, senior editor @ The Information

We (Ladder) never take it for granted when members share their Ladder ❤️ with the world!! 🙏🙏 Thank you Maggie Crowley (VP of Product @ Toast) for the Ladder shoutout on LENNY’S PODCAST with Lenny Rachitsky! Thank you Brian Balfour (CEO @ Reforge) for the Ladder shoutout on his podcast UNSOLICITED Feedback with Fareed Mosavat, while chatting with Cem Kansu (VP of Product @ Duolingo)! --> UNSOLICITED Feedback - Nov 14th -- Cem: If you have to do something offline to continue the experience, it just makes it very hard for us [Duolingo] to optimize a completely different problem. So I think things that have a physical component that you need to do are things we generally stayed out of. Fitness being one of them. -- Brian: Yeah, the one [fitness app] I use, that actually, I feel like it borrowed some UI patterns from you all [Duolingo]…Ladder. It's pretty good and super well designed. They've implemented a lot of similar gamification mechanics around streaks and other things. But it's very well done, very cool. – LENNY’S PODCAST - Nov 5th -- Lenny: What is a favorite product you’ve recently discovered that you really like? -- Maggie: I’m now on Ladder…I like the anonymity of it and it comes with a totally unhinged group chat for your whole team. It’s fantastic. I’m really enjoying it.
