Thanks to our outstanding vendor partners, the customers who give us their trust and their business, and our incredible associates, KaTom earned top honors from our national buying group! We received awards recognizing us as having the biggest sales growth in dollars and for growing with more vendors than any other dealer. We were also runner-up for total volume percent increase, fueled by last year’s massive warehouse expansion. Congratulations to KaTom Director of Outside Sales Nick Taylor, CFSP, who has been named Dealer Sales Representative (DSR) of the Year by Foodservice Equipment & Supplies magazine! Nick, who joined Team KaTom six years ago, was also named DSR of the month in January 2023 in recognition of his work creating legendary experiences for the customers we serve. “Nick may have started his career in mattress sales, but he used that platform to spring forward to develop a book-of-business that totaled $60 million in 2023,” said Maureen Slocum, FE&S publisher. “As Nick’s customers put it, he forms partnerships with them that are rooted in trust and mutual respect. Nick is known for his integrity and reliability, which are hallmarks of this award.”

KaTom Vice President of Business Development Charley Bible celebrated our 15th consecutive annual recognition by Inc. magazine as one of America's fastest-growing private companies with other honorees at Growth & Grit 2023 on November 14. The celebration put on by the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center acknowledged the accomplishments both of our team and our fellow regional honorees. Team KaTom is immeasurably grateful for this opportunity and for the repeated honor of being named to this list.

KaTom would like to extend congratulations to all associates who recently passed the CFSP exam. This is an accomplishment that certainly deserves recognition, and we are proud of each team member for reaching this milestone.

Two Gold Awards given during the recent FEDA annual conference are a tribute to that effort. Our Founder, President, and CEO Patricia Bible accepted the Champion for Young Professionals Award, which recognizes a dealer dedicated to attracting and retaining young workers. Executive Assistant Daniel Langston, who works on everything from recruiting to event planning, was honored with the Ascending Young Industry Leader Award, which is given to an individual aged 21-33 who has shown growth in leadership ability. We appreciate FEDA for recognizing our commitment to cultivating the next generation of leaders for foodservice and beyond.
