From blueprint to reality! 🤩 Construction of La Plaza Esperanza is in full swing, and we couldn't be more excited.🌆✨ Thanks to the community leaders and elected officials who recently toured the construction of La Plaza Esperanza, which will be finished this October. Today, we honor Juneteenth ✊ A day that marks the end of slavery in the United States. On January 1, 1863, President Lincoln issued The Emancipation Proclamation. Sadly, it took more than two years for that news to reach enslaved African-Americans in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865. We honor and celebrate the day that all Black Americans became free, and we continue to fight for racial equity for ALL BLACK AMERICANS 👏 — El día de hoy honramos JUNETEENTH (Junio 19) ✊ El 1 de enero de 1863, el presidente Lincoln emitió la Proclamación de Emancipación.
