As we design #clinicaltrials and think about its #feasibility its important to remember there is always a #Patient involved (not just a subject), who has real feelings, real challenges ... every day. Take the time to listen to Brianna Childs story of living with #myositis at the leapcure #advocacy Corner with Rithana Srikanth on youtube : https://lnkd.in/eyRcz9NP Not all Advocates are large organizations. Some are everyday people just trying to connect and help others. https://lnkd.in/epTgnWqM You will be glad you watched. #clinicalstudies #patientengagement #dermatomyositis #empathy #trust #raredisease

What a great experience today! In a conversation with a #ClinicalSite PI discussing how we could potentially partner with him on other #clinicalstudies he says... "Before working with you guys, I wouldn't have recommended anyone!" - idea of recommending leapcure to other #sponsors Its great to hear the actual impact that we make not only in the lives of connecting patients to research - but also the reductions in #siteburden that our Patient Success team's #triplevalidation process accomplishes. Win-Win-Win all around.

Our CEO, Zachary Gobst, shared a few thoughts on the release of new guidance of Diversity Action Plans (DAPs) by the FDA. What are your thoughts on this new guidance? Share them in the comments below!
Great News in Clinical Trials! The FDA has just released new guidance on Diversity Action Plans (DAPs) aimed at improving the enrollment of underrepresented populations in clinical studies. This supports progress toward ensuring that clinical trials are more inclusive and reflective of our diverse society. At Leapcure, we are fully aligned with making a difference in this area. Our aim is to bring gravity to all voices and incorporate empathy with everyone—from patients and advocacy groups to research sites and sponsors—ensuring the most impactful medical breakthroughs. We look forward to collaborating with industry partners and the FDA to improve clinical trials. Together, we can lead the movement towards more inclusive, effective, and equitable clinical research. Today marks both Juneteenth and World Sickle Cell Day. Recognizing these events both individually and together is important for black communities. Juneteenth celebrates the historical steps made towards progress, but also shines a light on the progress still to be made. Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is just one area where progress is critical, as it predominantly affects the very voices we celebrate and elevate on Juneteenth. SCD research and healthcare suffer a lack of funding, recognition, and resources. World Sickle Cell Day raises the awareness needed to increase understanding, uncover alternative therapies, and reduce barriers to adequate care. Advocacy groups drive so much of the awareness needed. To learn more about the specific challenges around SCD, we’ve tagged some important voices in the space: JewEL Darbone Sickle Cell 101 Jenica Leah Cayenne Wellness Center & Children´s Foundation #juneteenth #worldsicklecellday #research #health

Looks like it was an amazing event!
Reflections from #OCTUK & Ireland 2024 by Patrick Shores and Danny Scott 📣The leapcure team recently attended the 11th Annual Outsourcing in Clinical Trials UK and Ireland 2024 event, and we're excited to share our key takeaways with you: 1. 🤝 Elevating site collaboration is crucial. Inspiring conversations focused on improving collaboration, transparency, and setting appropriate expectations with well-defined accountability structures. 2. 🌍 Diversity and inclusion are top priorities. Although the exact approach to achieving specific inclusion metrics remains a work in progress, it's encouraging to see the active discussions and commitment to finding solutions amongst the clinical trial community! 3. 🩺 Rare diseases require special attention. Our empathetic 1:1 approach, led by our patient success coordinators, is invaluable in helping patients navigate study inclusion obstacles and improving the engagement of rare disease patients. 4. 🤝 Long-term partnerships are key. The conference highlighted the importance of finding the right partners from the start. When sponsors, patients, and vendors work together seamlessly, everyone wins. At Leapcure, we're dedicated to driving innovation in patient recruitment and clinical trials. We can’t wait to continue our conversations from #OCTUK and work with our partners to promote inclusive and patient-centric clinical research. #OCTUK2024 #ClinicalTrialsInnovation #PatientEngagement #Collaboration #RareDisease #PartnerWithLeapcure #Leapcure

Our Head of Sales, Patrick Shores had the chance to attend an amazing session at #OCTUK on how vendors can and should be partners at clinical trials. We want to thank the speaker, Craig Elliott, for highlighting the importance of win-win-win partnerships that support vendors, sponsors, and above all patients!
