We’ve enhanced and expanded our services, built invaluable partnerships with local organizations, helped support our community through a pandemic, offered the world a look inside our ER on Netflix and celebrated countless other wins along the way. 🐾 Magita and her baby brother, best buds since day one! Natalie couldn’t have predicted how crucial her emotional support dog, Magita, would be during her postpartum recovery, especially after her birth story didn't pan out as planned. With Magita by her and her husband’s side, the couple had the sense of normalcy and comfort they needed when her newborn baby boy was unexpectedly taken to the NICU. “It’s a huge comfort to them,” says nurse navigator Lisa Schavrien, who works with our delivering moms to meet their families' unique needs, which includes arranging special visits from emotional support animals. “There should be nothing about you that we’re not prepared for.
