  • The LGBTQ Center OC is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a grant by the CA Dept of Health Care Services and The Center at Sierra Health Foundation to support its Elevate Youth California Program. We are excited to continue expanding our efforts to develop the next generation of LGBTQIA+ leaders and allies within our community, providing them with the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to thrive, organize, and advocate to make a positive difference in their schools and local neighborhoods. We are one of 75 community-based and tribal organizations from across the state, focusing on civic engagement, mentorship and peer-led supports that lift up youth empowerment and leadership with a focus on impacting policy, systems and environmental change. We look forward to continuing to build our collective power with our community partners to achieve tangible improvements in the lives of young people and drive meaningful impact. We are incredibly thankful to The Center and #DHCS for their unwavering support and recognition of the vital work we do, and we look forward to working to create a more inclusive and equitable Orange County for all. This project is supported by Elevate Youth California and funded through Proposition 64. #lgbtqcenteroc
