Michelle Zettergren was recently featured in DCReport, where she recommends historic sites of the labor movement to visit on a cross-country road trip. If you’ll be near any of these sites this summer, seize the opportunity to learn more about the brave men and women who fought for the rights of workers. https://lnkd.in/eT8g-vdg

Today, Gary LaBarbera, President of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Greater New York, and Eric Adams, Mayor of the City of New York, signed the 2024 Project Labor Agreement (PLA) to build affordable housing, using union pension funds to support underserved communities. All will be 100% built by skilled men and women in the construction trades. The PLA, with the support of BCTC, will move forward on nearly 200 NYCHA projects and support our Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs). This is a new initiative to engage individuals in minority areas to participate and build careers in the unionized construction industry. https://bit.ly/3wJKmls
