🎒"If a student has a bad experience that starts at orientation and it continues through their first semester, we are less likely to retain that student.” - Katie Murray, director of new student and family programs at Towson University to EdSurge If you want to retain incoming students, you need to foster student belonging, but also provide comprehensive mental health services that connect with every member of the student body. Mantra Health partners with institutions to provide students a wide array of mental health and wellness resources, including self-guided wellness content, peer-to-peer support, virtual therapy and 24/7 crisis support. Digital mental healthcare clinic, designed for young adults.
About us
Mantra Health is a digital mental health clinic on a mission to improve young peoples' mental healthcare access through clinical services, software, and design. Since our founding in 2018, we've built a comprehensive treatment service for young adults with various mental health conditions. We've raised over $27 million to work with students at universities and colleges across the country such as MIT, Cornell, and the University of Minnesota. Our students see clinically significant differences in their mental health during treatment with us. We're particularly proud that nearly two-thirds of students with access to Mantra report that Mantra's program helped them stay in school.

“We have to meet the students where they are. Gen Z has a different set of lived experiences than other generations and they are expecting a more customized, nontraditional experience. Whether it’s customized mental health and wellness support or a more diverse academic curriculum, they want options.” - Joe Cooper, Ed.D., Vice Provost of Student Success and Dean of Students at Montana Technological University To satisfy the needs of your entire student body, you should be offering a diverse and inclusive suite of mental health and wellness services. Moving beyond the traditional model of care, institutions like Montana Tech are expanding their services to support the evolving needs of the student. 🌈 "Pride is openness and visibility: a celebration of who I am, remembering there are people who welcome me fully with open arms, and allowing myself to be held with total and complete love/acceptance. On the other, it's about continuing my learning and educating myself about how people (like me and unlike me) are still being systemically marginalized and how I'm either upholding or dismantling those systems. It's both a time of celebration and external connection and time of deep, internal reflection." - Mantra employee (they/them, trans-enby, aro-ace) The end of #PrideMonth shouldn't be the end of Pride; rather it's an invitation to recognize the evolving needs of the LGBTQIA+ community, promote mental health equity, and engage in ongoing learning. How will you continue to celebrate Pride beyond this month? Tell us in the comments. 👇
