This program features blended learning through a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on experimentation in MRC’s Lean Enterprise Works (LEW) factory simulation.   • Celebrating Excellence: MLI Class of 2024 Graduation! We’re thrilled to announce that MRC’s Manufacturing Leadership Institute (MLI) recently graduated its Class of 2024!  Twenty new talented graduates completed an intensive program designed for current and emerging leaders in all aspects of Strategic Leadership. The celebration took place at Madeline’s, where our graduates and alumni gathered for a lively “Mixer” with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Framed graduation certificates were proudly presented by Rich Hobbs and Karen Buck to each graduate marking their achievement and commitment to growth and innovation. The MLI executive leadership course comprises 12 modules, expertly taught by leading subject matter experts from “Thinking like a Leader” to “Creativity & Innovation.” These graduates honed their strategic leadership skills across 12 diverse topics.     𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to the recent graduates of MRC's Foundations of Lean Spring 2024 program! Our participants concluded their journey with another successful transformation of our onsite Lean Enterprise Works factory—an illustration of the power of applied learning. The bedrock of sustainable continuous improvement lies in mastering both Lean Manufacturing and Leadership skills. Through immersive experiences, our participants have built this critical foundation, positioning them to drive meaningful change within their organizations. Under the guidance of MRC's Gene Kaschak, Amrish Thaker, and Wendy Beltzner, participants experienced the following key concepts: • Manufacturing Waste Identification • One-Piece Flow and Cellular Manufacturing • Pull Systems and 5S Workplace Organization • Standardized Work and TWI Job Instruction • DiSC Work Behavioral Styles and Team Building By directly applying these key concepts in our Lean factory, graduates have gained not just knowledge, but the confidence to address real-world improvement challenges.
