One of the biggest barriers to electrification is panel upgrades. Homeowners may be prepared for the additional cost of installing a heat pump to replace their aging gas water heater, but when told they need a panel upgrade, may face a bit of sticker shock. Can we help families electrify with creative new solutions to avoid the need for panel upgrades? #WeAreMCE #NoPlanetB #ClimateChange #Electrification #HeatPump #California #Electricity #CleanPower #Decarbonization https://lnkd.in/dFT36bg6.

Meet Michelle Nochisaki, Senior Customer Programs Manager at MCE! Before joining MCE, Michelle spent over 7 years in the home performance industry, where she became passionate about the “house as a system” approach to reducing energy usage and improving indoor air quality. Now, as part of MCE’s Customer Programs Team, she loves having a direct impact on the homes they serve and supporting the company’s larger efforts in clean energy production and community impact. Her favorite part of the job? Seeing happy customers whose homes have been improved thanks to services they otherwise would not receive. Outside of work, Michelle is a mom, dog mom, and DIY renovator of her 1885 Saratoga dream home. She enjoys California beach walks, hiking the Adirondacks in Upstate NY, and catching sunrises and sunsets on both coasts. 🌅🐾🌲
