Today we want to spotlight a 'FRED' that has been on a few of our San Diego Teams - Giovanna Rodriguez! She was nominated by her team and they said: "Giovanna is a rising star. Her big 3 is a constant. Her ability to adhere to our standards while delivering Mendo Magic to our guests is seamless. A recent shift put her in the spotlight. A combination of tight scheduling and her team member not being able to make the shift saw her solo. Not only did she set up the restaurant perfectly and support catering, she flexed between all positions the entire shift with ease. The kicker though, was that she farmhosted every guest that walked through the door, even ensuring all kiddos got to color happy. Giovanna truly goes above and beyond on every shift!!" At Mendocino Farms, we believe in spreading happiness wherever we go. That's why, when we train our teams for each of our grand openings, we donate over 120 delicious menu items to our local heroes, community partners, and business neighbors. From working with our local police and fire departments to supporting homeless shelters and hospitals, we're all about making a positive impact in the communities that welcome us. This initiative totaled 1,600+ meals last year alone!
