    Speed matters. Not only does it create a better user experience, but it directly impacts your bottom line. Lets's look at one of our customers: A Fortune 50 retailer came to us because their website wasn’t loading fast enough. They were losing steam in critical areas, like user retention, SEO rankings and revenue. What impacted performance most? The marketing, advertising, and analytics tools they needed required 53+ third-party tags on their website. In other words, their tagging ecosystem was bloated and slow. The solution? Through a private Google Cloud deployment of MetaRouter’s fast and flexible data routing platform, they moved the vast majority of third party tags off the page and onto our server side integrations. Which means another episode of Dutchy Spills the Tea 🍵 This week, Chris Dutch talks about the intriguing world of composable data collection—specifically, the age-old debate of building vs. buying solutions. Finding somewhere to live is much like choosing software. You have three options: rent, buy, or build. Each comes with its own set of benefits and drawbacks. He goes through cautionary tale about the complexities of building in-house solutions. Specifically, the requirements for this "build" scenario included: • Build Costs: $2-3M initial, $5-7M integrations, $2-3M annual maintenance. • Resources: Up to 29 full-time employees. • Challenges: Long integration times, high costs, and complexity.
