The Methodist Healthcare Foundation is excited to host this year's Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway this Sat., July 20 at Methodist University Hospital's Shorb Tower parking lot beginning at 10am. We're filling 2,000 free backpacks with school supplies and distributing them at this drive-thru event. Registration is not required. We want to share a BIG thank you to all the teenagers who joined our VolunTEEN program throughout June. Over two dozen teens volunteered in multiple departments, ranging from same-day surgery to pharmacy to radiology to medical oncology. Leaders across the system said having the teens was a joy and they took full advantage of their summer experience. The future is bright for healthcare!

Don’t miss out on our summer babysitting class at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital! Kids who are 11-15 years old are eligible to enroll. The class is Saturday, August 3rd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $80. Students will learn basic first-aid and CPR, how to prepare snacks/meals, and develop a babysitting resume.
