Thank you, ITW, for inviting MG+M to your third annual Diverse Summer Associate Luncheon. We were proud to have our Leadership Council on Legal Diversity 1L Summer Scholar Urwa Hameed represent MG+M at this great event.
ITW's Legal Department welcomed more than 30 diverse law students to its Glenview, Illinois, headquarters on Monday, July 8th for its Third Annual Diverse Summer Associate Event. The students, who are currently interning with our law firm partners across the country, enjoyed a day of learning and networking with ITW’s attorneys. One of the highlights of the day was a panel featuring ITW attorneys Dee Armstrong, Associate General Counsel, Angela Carter, Chief Compliance Officer, and Gilberto Hernandez, Assistant Group Technology Counsel, who discussed their career journeys and answered pragmatic questions on the legal profession. Thanks to the Legal Department’s DE&I Committee members and ITW’s legal team for their time and support in putting together this great event, which showcases ITW’s commitment to fostering inclusivity, championing diversity, and empowering the next generation of legal professionals.
