Restful sleep is a crucial component of overall health and wellbeing, which is why Mount Nittany Health Sleep Medicine’s providers, registered sleep technologists, and staff, are committed to diagnosing and treating various sleep conditions. Recently, Mount Nittany Health announced that the sleep lab has received accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). This makes Mount Nittany Health the only accredited sleep lab in Centre County. To receive accreditation, sleep centers must meet or exceed all standards for professional health care as designated by the AASM. These standards address core areas such as personnel, facility and equipment, policies and procedures, data acquisition, patient care, and quality assurance. The accreditation includes an extensive in person visit of the sleep lab and staff interviews. Read More > https://ow.ly/okcB50SEQT0
