Mark holds a PhD in Material Science and has over 25 years of experience in the additive manufacturing (AM) industry. His extensive background includes leading an academic research group at a national center for AM, serving as CTO of a company that manufactures LPBF 3D printers, and working as an end-user producing 3D printed parts for medical and aerospace customers to accredited ISO standards. We are confident that his skills and experience will complement our already talented team at Admatec and accelerate our plans to develop new materials and products within the Admatec range. Amanda Taylor and Michael Clark had a great time at the 2024 Microfluidics Consortium meeting in Boston. Here, they were able to tour Northeastern University's Multiscale Thermal Fluidics Laboratory, Boston University's Microfluidics CIDAR Lab, and Nano Dimension's Fabrica facility. They enjoyed various academic and industry presentations, a panel discussion with microfluidic industry veterans, and a networking event at MIT. Clark sees significant potential for 3D printing to provide molds and printers to large US universities. Developing a clear bio-material could further enable true 3D microfluidics for "organ on a chip" applications. #AdditiveManufacturing #3DPrinting #Innovation

We are excited to announce that Nano Dimension is set to acquire Desktop Metal, purchasing all outstanding shares for $5.50 each in cash, with potential adjustments lowering the price to $4.07 per share. The total consideration ranging from $183 million to $135 million. Both NNDM and DM's Boards of Directors have unanimously approved the acquisition. The combined company will have a 2023 revenue of $246 million, with 28% from recurring revenue, and will benefit from enhanced product offerings, customer reach, and potential operational synergies exceeding $30 million in cost savings.
