Last week, I was fortunate to participate in Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program for Tribal Leaders. The program, led by Harvard's senior lecturers, explored 20 case studies on leadership, social change, public policy, nation building, environmental management, leveraging data and AI, and more. Each case discussion came to life through the diverse perspectives of 77 Tribal leaders from over 60 Tribal nations across the United States and Canada. I am deeply grateful to Harvard, the National Congress of American Indians, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, and the 2024 class for this life-changing experience!

This past week I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Harvard Business School Executive Education program for Tribal Leaders. It was a transformative 6 days filled with engaging and thought-provoking discussions on teamwork, strategic planning, nation-building, tribal governance, leadership in crisis, negotiations and more. The program brought together 77 Tribal Leaders, and I am honored to have been part of such an inspiring group. The insights and knowledge shared by Harvard's esteemed professors, coupled with the diverse perspectives of my fellow leaders, made this experience truly unforgettable. I have a renewed sense of purpose and a transformed approach to leadership and strategy. Thank you to the National Congress of American Indians, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, and Harvard Business School for providing this innovative opportunity. A special thank you to my tribe, the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas, for supporting me and making it possible for me to attend. I was proud to represent us and look forward to applying what I’ve learned to benefit our tribe. #Councilwoman #TribalLeadership #HarvardBusinessSchool #NCAI #Leadership #NationBuilding #LifeAtATT #Teamwork #StrategicPlanning #TribalGovernance #IndigenousExcellence
