Immense gratitude to Ohel Children's Home and Family Services for this incredible growth opportunity! The first day of residency Sy Syms School of Business was eye-opening, enlightening and fun! Looking forward to experiencing and learning more!
✅ Day 1 of our Summer 2024 Sy Syms MBA Residency is in the books! 💡 The day started off with team building exercises with Sy Syms Executive Director of Graduate Programs Linda Driver, where the students learned about their personality types via the MBTI assessment and discovered how to work with others of varying types for the best success. Faculty member Mark Finkel followed presenting about organizational behavior and how various factors impact the workplace such as AI, the pandemic and other unforeseen circumstances. 🎤 The students then heard from guest speaker Annie Garofalo, CEO + Founding Team Relationship Expert at Confidante about how to pick the best partners, communicate and work with others in the best way possible. ✈️ The day concluded with an exciting trip to The Squadron NYC where the students learned how racing pit teams collaborate to aid their cars in seconds, ensuring smooth and lighting quick efficiency, followed by a brief flight school session and ending with F35 flight simulators. Stay tuned for day 2 of our MBA Summer Residency tomorrow! Yeshiva University Linda Driver Mark Finkel Tamar Avnet Annie Garofalo Noam Wasserman Asher Brooks Gladys E. We were delighted that Ohel's CEO, David Mandel, along with Chief Administrative Officer, Amy Bierig, and Bracha Rupp, LCSW, Ohel's South Florida Trauma Coordinator, had a productive meeting with Florida Representatives Randy Fine and Jennifer Canady. The purpose was to educate the representatives about Ohel's services in Florida and seek their valuable support.

Amazing work, Tzivia Reiter and Naomi Baum! This is truly so inspiring seeing the tremendous impact you both have left on thousands of children in Israel 💙🇮🇱
I'm so proud that Inner Space: My Resilience Workbook, that I co-authored with Naomi Baum, has been used by over 20,000 children in Israel from the most affected communities. I will be heading out there next week and visiting some of the classrooms using our resources. To order Inner Space for your classroom, please email schoolresources@ohelfamily.org. To get a free copy for communities impacted in Israel, email Naomi.baum@gmail.com.
