About us
Outreach, a non-profit organization, is a premier provider and champion of quality, life-changing drug and alcohol abuse treatment and training services in New York City and Long Island. Over 35 years ago, Outreach opened its doors as a small assessment and referral center to engage people in the community struggling with addiction to seek help. Since then, its mission evolved to meet more needs and more communities. Today, Outreach inspires adolescents, adults, and their families to achieve a life of unlimited potential through high-quality, evidence-based substance abuse treatment and training programs throughout New York City and Long Island.

Outreach is happy to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Buffalo Exchange Tokens for Bags® program from July through December 2024. You can now donate to Outreach just by shopping at Buffalo Exchange New York - Williamsburg. Instead of a plastic bag, the Tokens for Bags® program offers every customer who makes a purchase one “token” valued at five cents (the cost to produce a bag) to donate to one of several local charities selected by the store. The program has generated over $962,840 for hundreds of local nonprofit organizations since 1994 and has saved over 19.25 million plastic bags from the landfill. @BuffaloExchange

Outreach is excited to collaborate with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office to build healthy lives for the youth in our communities. Today, the team from the Suffolk County District’s Attorney’s Office of Community Affairs, led by Kimberly Jerideau, Community Relations Assistant, toured Outreach House II, met with our clients and discussed opportunities to help connect families and their teens to the services at Outreach. John Venza, Vice President of Residential Services and Business Development, facilitated the tour and productive conversation.
