Today marks three years since the passing of Deputy Sheriff Angela Chavers from PBSO Corrections. She bravely served her community and tragically lost her life to COVID-19 during an outbreak on September 12, 2020. Deputy Chavers had served our agency for 18 years and was assigned to the Inmate Management Division. Let us honor her memory and the dedication she showed to keeping us safe.

Wise words from Sheriff Ric Bradshaw.
With over 50 years in law-enforcement experience, I take pride in the men and women who decide to put their lives at risk every day in order to protect the communities they serve. These young recruits will need to prove themselves for the next 12 months before they get to officially serve in the greatest law-enforcement agency in the state.

A message from Sheriff Ric Bradshaw.
I'm proud to announce that this morning, on September 5, 2023, at 5:00 am, more than 40 of our exceptional deputies, along with a skilled logistical support team, embarked on a mission to Taylor County from Lake Lytal Park. Upon reaching their destination, our PBSO team will collaborate closely with Taylor County Emergency Operation Officials. Our objective is to assist with law enforcement duties and contribute to the ongoing disaster relief efforts. In times of crisis, it's essential for communities to come together and offer support. I want to express my gratitude to our deputies and support staff who have willingly stepped forward to provide aid. We stand united, and we are committed to serving and protecting, no matter where that calling takes us.

I am incredibly proud to share with you all some remarkable achievements of our men and women in uniform. According to a recent article by the Palm Beach Post, our Sheriff's Office has been leading the state in the increase of risk-protection orders over the past two years. These orders are a crucial tool in preventing potential violent incidents and keeping our community safe. As I told the Palm Beach Post, "It’s prevented something bad from happening. You can’t prove a negative, but it takes away the likelihood of something happening." I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our deputies, clinical therapists, and all the staff involved in making our community a safer place to live, work, and raise a family. Let's continue to work together to make Palm Beach County an example for others to follow. Here is the article:https://lnkd.in/eKikSsGa Stay safe and take care, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw
