Please join us in congratulating Bri Freeman, an Assistant Nurse Manager on our orthopedic unit, who was honored today as a Tenet Hero for exemplifying the company’s core values and commitment to providing quality, compassionate care in communities we serve. In addition to this special recognition, Bri was also selected as an inductee to the Tenet Healthcare Hall of Fame, the company’s highest honor for standout employees. According to her nomination, "Bri has always been passionate about her healthcare career: learning, teaching and helping others. In addition to her great nursing and leadership work here at PBGMC, Bri travels to Tanzania, Africa every year for a Medical Mission. This mission prioritizes women’s health and safe births. She became fluent in Swahili, to assist with being successful for the journey each year. Bri educates the medical staff how to identify postpartum complications; hemorrhage, estimate blood loss, and perform correct fundal massage. Each year, Bri foregoes the comforts of home for this trip to extend her nursing knowledge and help others less fortunate." Bri is a true hero for her selflessness, compassion, and commitment to excellence here at PBGMC and in the communities she serves. We're lucky to have Bri on our team and we're proud to recognize her for receiving the Tenet Hero award and for her Hall of Fame induction. Our #PalmBeachGardensMedicalCenter team is #StrongerTogetherForYou. Check out this recent five star review! “The staff and nurses were truly amazing and very caring. Our charge nurse Diane and the case manager nurse Kelly went out of their way to ensure I had the best care after my procedure. They explained and answered all of our questions with true compassion. They cared about my needs and concerns. I would highly recommend this place for outpatient procedures. Thank you for a great experience.” #PBHNProud
