🤔 What do you know about green hydrogen? The Client: The annual Plug Symposium has become a staple in the energy industry, specifically among green hydrogen enthusiasts. It serves as a one-stop shop for information on what Plug Power is doing as the dominant industry trailblazer. Through their global network of supply plants and energy products, Plug is supporting critical energy projects for clients like Microsoft, Amazon, Tyson, and Fortescue to name a few of the heavy hitters. It’s been fun to watch them execute their expansion plans over the last few years. Their success is no surprise, the company is filled with great people with a great inclusive culture. The Event: This year, we assisted Plug in presenting the Symposium from their manufacturing center in Albany, NY, also known as Vista. Vista is 400K Square Feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space that helps Plug deliver fuel cells and stationary power units to their customers for everything from forklifts to massive data center backups. We were able to turn Vista’s cafeteria into our main stage room with a wide screen LED wall, carpeted stage, and some intelligent lighting. That room hosted 200+ guests and then broadcasted live to over 5K online. After the main stage program, guests toured the amazing facility and then rolled into lunch. From there we re-used the main stage room and two additional large conference rooms as breakout rooms for the second half of the day. The day was capped off with a reception in the lobby and ‘ride n’ drives’ for those who wanted to drive a GreenH2 powered van for the first time.
