A balanced diet is a foundation of good health. 🍓 For people with Parkinson’s disease, a balanced diet is even more important. In PD, there are some foods that may help to ease symptoms and help brain health, while others can affect the way medications work. While there are many things about PD that cannot be changed, the informed choice of diet can help people to live better with the disease. Moving Day teams are the core of our walks, and every team needs a team captain to lead the fight against Parkinson’s disease! A team captain recruits family, friends and coworkers to join their team. They fundraise, keep their team motivated, and most importantly, help us raise awareness for PD. As a Team captain you will receive additional support from the Parkinson’s Foundation to assist with recruitment and fundraising efforts. Have you considered leading a team at your next Moving Day Walk? We're here to help! Learn more at: MovingDayWalk.org

Our Clearwater team, led by Operations Manager Laury Iriarte and Area Supervisor Jeremy Vega, has donated $750 to the Parkinson's Foundation. Inspired by a colleague’s personal battle with Parkinson's, our employees raised funds, which the company matched to maximize our support. This contribution aims to advance research and improve the quality of life for those affected by this disease. #ParkinsonFoundation #Donation #HospitalityIndustry
