We are PHRMA. Equity is the key to building inclusive workplaces for our diverse teams, and we will continue to offer education, resources, and development opportunities to support you in this effort. We are committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, equitable, and respectful community where our members can foster relationships, empower the HR profession, inspire growth, and learn. Our Equity Committee focuses on internal and external facing development opportunities that help us all grow. Internally, our board participates in regular equity and inclusion training and additionally, we have a pre-existing, pre-planned equity alignment training on August 1st for all PHRMA volunteers. This event has been planned as a place for us to continue our work on intersectionality, explore its role in creating inclusive environments, and learn how to lead our initiatives with an equity-focused approach. Externally, our work continues with our new partnership with Workplace Change and the Be the Change program where attendees will learn how to reform their organization’s systems, policies, and accountability to truly make their people and culture efforts stick. Our work is never finished. We will continue to evolve and grow so we can provide you with the necessary tools, education, information, and community you need to help you cultivate equitable workplaces.
