In addition to our PKH-powered degree programs, Project Kitty Hawk offers a system-wide approach to re-enrolling learners who have stopped out of UNC System institutions. In just a little over a year, the PKH Re-Enrollment Program has brought more than 1,700 students back into UNC System institutions, and some of the smallest schools in our state are seeing the largest impacts. “Our partnership with PKH has proven to be invaluable for UNCP, greatly enhancing our efforts to re-engage students and support them as they return to achieve their goals,” said Dr. Robin Cummings, chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. “Whether they are simply re-enrolling to finish what they started or seeking new opportunities in life, it is incredibly rewarding to see the project’s positive impact for so many individuals. As a school of access, UNCP is appreciative for the work this collaboration has initiated to remove barriers and ensure North Carolinians have every opportunity to pursue higher education.” Read more about the success of the PKH Re-Enrollment Program in this post from the University of North Carolina System. https://lnkd.in/gAPkKQsK #ProjectKittyHawk #PKH #AdultLearners #UNCSystem

“The way that it’s set up is so easy, and someone is always there." This quote from Sarah Williams, a student at East Carolina University enrolled in a PKH-powered psychology program, perfectly reflects what we're striving to create at Project Kitty Hawk: a learning environment where adult learners can thrive. We're proud to partner with ECU to make quality education accessible and flexible for North Carolina's adult learners. Thank you to East Carolina University for highlighting the success of our partnership in this story. #ProjectKittyHawk #OnlineEducation #AdultLearners #ECU #SuccessStory

We at PKH would like to give light to a story recently published by Michael Perchick, a reporter for ABC11, who put together a piece about the RN to BSN program offered by NCCU. This was the first Project Kitty Hawk-powered program that went live within the UNC System back in the fall. He highlighted how NCCU has seen an increase in enrollment for its RN to BSN program following a partnership with Project Kitty Hawk, and how the program offers flexible options for working nurses. Our partnership with NCCU addresses the shortage of nurses in North Carolina and aligns with the state's goal of achieving 2 million degrees or credentials by 2030. Read more about the program here, and thank you to Michael and the ABC11 team for telling our story! #PKH #NCCU #RNtoBSN #MyFutureNC https://lnkd.in/e3g_yYwY
