Since we launched Rabot Pack, we’ve observed some interesting things 👀 1️⃣ Your customer complaints are going to get worse during sales peaks like this summer. We’ve seen a 40% spike in order lookups after major sales events. 😲 2️⃣ 90% of your claims are actually refutable – your team is doing the job right! You just don’t have proof of this, so you end up absorbing the loss 🤯 3️⃣ Average investigation time for claims is 2 hours. With Rabot at your packing stations, you can slash this down to a couple mins.  🙃 Now, you can also speed up fact-finding with our new Events log, which allows you to scrub and filter by SKU, activity type, or timing – before sharing the recording with brands as proof. If you want a free starter kit to test this out on your station, hit Channa up in his DMs or comment on this for more info.

2024’s summer is shaping up to be a summer of sales. As temperatures rise around the country, 65% of Americans are planning on hunting for more bargains due to strained wallets, says Robinhood’s Sherwood News. On top of this, rivals Target and Walmart are copying Amazon’s Prime Day playbook by launching their own July sales events. 📈 With all of these rises, there’s also a fall – falling prices, that is – as major retailers announce price cuts on thousands of items to match a cooling in discretionary spending. 📉 In this market, #peakseason is starting much earlier and bringing with it tighter margins for sellers and fulfillment centers. 3PLs or FCs are going to be contending with: - Less room for error - The need for faster on-ramping of your temp workforce - An increase in chargebacks, made worse if items are discounted - Managing slow/unpaid AR due to unearned deductions For several months now, we've been hearing from customers and industry friendlies that Rabot’s "Pack" product is a crucial partner for any fulfillment ops team hoping to establish incontrovertible proof of jobs done right when managing claims. With Rabot Pack installed at your packing stations, you can share video evidence for every order that leaves your warehouse, coach the team on best practices, streamline alerts for water-spider routes, and analyze the true cost of packout against brand expectations. To mark the official kickoff of summer sales, we’re announcing a special deal: If you’re a 3PL based in the US, fill out our form for a chance to get a Starter Kit of Rabot Pack FREE for 30 days. We’ll kit, ship, and support your station if you’re one of the first 3 respondents to qualify (form link in comments).  Tag or share this post with a friend who is feeling the pain of chargebacks. Get the support you need to finish off this summer strong! 😎 🧴 🦾

For fulfillment ops teams, the tiniest difference in a SKU can trigger a frustrating chain reaction that impacts efficiency, customer satisfaction, and your bottom line. 📉 Even with a robust process in place, mistakes can happen! Very little can stop you from being inevitably be hit with the dreaded message from your brands: “Customer reported incorrect item/color. Possible packing error.” In moments like these, you need clear and precise evidence to verify the order  – the kind of evidence that immediately shuts down any doubt. 😤 As we've scaled our deployments across hundreds of packing stations across the US, we noticed that certain customers need for a higher level of clarity. For most, a standard 4K camera works just fine when recording packing activities, but for these customers, they needed a way to track the more subtle differences as well, like when a SKU is off by one digit or letter. Today’s #featurefriday update is in direct response to this customer need. It’s a secondary camera that allows up to 4X zoom so you can get granular details of packing activities, alongside a wide-angle view of the packing process.  With this upgrade, you will be able to: ⭕ Zoom in on crucial details, not just product codes but also things like size lettering, colors, subtle variations, and small item counts ⭕ Resolve brand inquiries with irrefutable, precise evidence ⭕ Demonstrate your commitment to accuracy and brand satisfaction This feature isn’t just about preventing errors – it’s about growing your 3PL business, you guys!!! ☝ With Rabot, you not only get access to recording links that can be quickly shared with brands – eliminating the need for extra cycle counting – but also reports on overall packing performance. Plus, if your brands require specialized handling on certain orders, Rabot’s Advanced Zoom feature can help you market your ability to handle these products with extra attention to detail. If you’re interested, use the phrase “Advanced Zoom” when you fill out our sales contact form – and we’ll send you a special quote. Link to form in the comments.

This week’s feature is a small but mighty update we shipped last month 🔥 Rabot now captures barcodes as “events” so you can easily retrieve and cross-check them later. You’ll find this in the Events tab on the Orders page. Think of this tab as YouTube's 'key moment' markers; no need to scrub through loooooooong videos to find what you need. Rabot will log all of the key actions in a packing recipe that must not be missed – steps like adding a shipping label or temperature card, or scanning an item’s barcode – and codify them as distinct events that can be easily parsed through. Use the barcode events feature to: ↗ See essential info on captured barcodes like timestamp and barcode # ↗ Quickly verify if an item was packed with Search – with as little as two digits of the barcode ↗ Download a CSV of all events in the order This is one of those diagnostic features you can simply just count on. When things go wrong, click on the Rabot's Events tab for a reliable and easy way to verify an action and save a ton of time. #featurefriday #visionAI #3PL

[Wow gosh yesterday was the longest day of the year, easy to lose track of time, right? 😌 ] Today’s #featurefriday highlight is a sneak peek at something new that we’ve been building for #lifesciences suppliers. With vision AI, Rabot will detect – in real-time! – if a temperature card has been placed inside a box before it’s taped. What’s a temperature card? Good question! It’s a nifty indicator that changes color if temperature-sensitive items have been exposed to extreme heat/cold or passed its temperature threshold during transit. Missing this card results in serious non-compliance consequences, not to mention increased regulatory scrutiny, product loss, and reputation damage. Onto the feature! ✅ When a temperature card is added to a box, Rabot’s Andon light turns green, which means the box is good to go  🛑 If the light turns red, that tells the packer that a card was not detected/is missing and they must address this before the Andon turns to neutral There’s a lot more to say about this, but if you’re in life sciences or know someone who is, tag them in the comments! This could help prevent expensive CAPA procedures and so much more. #realtimedetection #VisionAI #medicaldistributor #warehousemanagement

🗣️ Customer quote on a feature we highlighted a couple weeks ago: "Rabot's Insights & Recommendations has been very useful in providing packout evidence to support client order claims, while also helping us improve process execution in terms of efficiency, layout, and activity." - Operations Manager, Chicago. 🙌 Talk to us, if you want to transform your packing data into insights that lead to real results. #3PL #VisionAI

We are committed to privacy in an all-in kind of way. That’s why we added Face Blur 😶 🌫 as a default capability to our platform in 2022. We designed Rabot’s algorithm to blur ALL detected faces right at the time of capture so that faces are de-identified from the get-go. This also applies to faces with masks. As soon as a face is detected, a gaussian blur is applied before any processing takes place. Face blur cannot be turned off by customers. This is not only because we care about being compliant with global privacy laws and protecting personal data, but also because we are #PrivacyFirst in how we build product at Rabot. We center on principles of data minimization, de-identification, and on-device processing and will be expanding on these in coming releases. Our customers are aligned with our approach and believe that investing in the team’s overall training and development is the key to a high-performing, balanced, and trustworthy workplace. What do you think? Is a privacy feature like #faceblur important when you purchase AI software? #WarehouseManagement #VisionAI #3PL #featurefriday

🚨 #FeatureFriday Spotlight: Digital Andon 🚨 Today’s feature picks up where we left off on “Call for Help”, the capability in Rabot’s operator-facing Pulse UI that allows packers to request assistance at their station instead of dropping everything to go find help. Digital Andon can be configured to work in tandem with “Call for Help” in one of the following modes: Operator Mode: Alert operators about critical or mandated actions that must take place before the order leaves the warehouse – like confirming if a temperature card is added for temperature sensitive items. Green means good ✅, red means recheck 🚨. Warehouse Mode: Notifies team leads about packers who need assistance on the floor via either the mounted Andon light turning red or Slack/Teams notifications. This could apply for missing or damaged items, printer or scanner issues, or anything really. Why you need Rabot’s Digital Andon for your warehouse: → Focused responses: Packers can stay focused at their stations while managers can coordinate and prioritize check-in routes when responding to real-time requests. → Insights for Improvement: Area managers can finally track and analyze the time spent on issue resolution, to continuously improve processes and team performance in the long term. Let’s make your warehouse operations smoother and smarter with Digital Andon! 💡 The slick WMS you see in the video is from our friends at Packiyo WMS 🤘 #3PL #WarehouseManagement  #VisionAI #Andon
