As an inaugural member of the Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE) at UT Austin, we'll support the development and execution of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)’s Next Generation Microelectronics Manufacturing program. With several partners, we'll define the future of 3D Heterogeneous Integration and shape TIE into a national resource for advanced semiconductor packaging and assembly. #oneRTX

At Valiant Shield 24, a simulated complex missile engagement demonstrated the U.S. Army's Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Senor (LTAMDS) and Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS), launching the U.S. Navy’s premier, long-range effector, Standard Missile-6 (SM-6). “The successful test confirms a viable option for INDOPACOM by demonstrating SM-6 integrated with IBCS and LTAMDS,” said Tom Laliberty, president of Land & Air Defense Systems at Raytheon. “LTAMDS matched with SM-6 adds an exceptional capability to defeat increasingly diverse and complex threats with a multi-mission missile that flies as far as the radar can see – providing for long range Army and Joint integrated air and missile defense.” Learn more: https://rtxcorp.co/46cKnMq

Raytheon's AN/ASQ-235 Airborne Mine Neutralization System (AMNS) was one of the solutions that played a key role in the recent Baltic Operations Exercise (BALTOPS24). BALTOPS is NATO’s premier maritime exercise in the Baltic Sea that showcases the essential role of maritime security operations, with more than 50 ships, 85 aircraft and roughly 9,000 personnel from 20 NATO member nations in attendance. Learn how this year’s exercise is the largest assembly of amphibious and mine-hunting forces in the event’s 53-year history: https://rtxcorp.co/3zt5Lkl

We have been awarded a $506 million contract from NASA to design and build the Landsat Next Instrument Suite (LandIS). The instrument will offer critical capabilities to help us live sustainably on Earth, provide continuity, improve understanding, and support decision-making for breakthrough science. “The next-generation instruments for Landsat Next will ensure continuity of the longest space-based record of Earth’s land surface,” said Sandy Brown, vice president for Mission Solutions & Payloads for Raytheon. “With up to three times the spatial, temporal, and spectral resolution of its predecessor, the imagers will enhance data collection to improve awareness of water quality, crop production, soil conservation, forest management, mineral mapping, and climate change impacts.” Learn more: https://rtxcorp.co/45l6pfz

📰 #NEWS: Raytheon awarded $677 million US Navy contract for SPY-6 family of radars. The SPY-6 family of radars is projected to be deployed on 65 U.S. Navy ships over the next 10 years to defend against air, surface, and ballistic threats, and is the most tested, most advanced radar technology in production today. “SPY-6 provides the fleet with superior air surveillance, electronic warfare protection and enhanced detection abilities,” said Barbara Borgonovi, president of Naval Power at Raytheon. "This contract is a significant step forward in ensuring this technology is delivered to ships to improve the overall self-defense of the fleet." Learn more: https://rtxcorp.co/3xey0Cr
