Razor’s Edge is excited to share that portfolio company X-Bow Systems Inc. has successfully raised over $70 Million in Series B funding! Razor’s Edge led this Series B round, and were joined by a great group of current and new investors, including Lockheed Martin Ventures, Boeing Ventures, Crosslink Capital, and Balerion Space Ventures. The capital raised from this Series B round will accelerate the rapid growth of X-Bow’s hypersonic-capable vehicles, strategic and tactical scale solid rocket motor programs, and completion of its Luling, TX gigafactory campus. Razor’s Edge portfolio company HawkEye 360 announced the successful launch of its eighth and ninth clusters of next generation satellites earlier today. This successful launch strategically positions these six new satellites over the world’s busiest maritime traffic corridors, bringing sophisticated technology and integrated capabilities that will dramatically enhance coverage and data collection efficiency. Marking the company’s first dual deployment, clusters eight and nine increase HawkEye’s total satellites in orbit to 29, reinforcing HawkEye 360’s commitment to delivering unparalleled geospatial insights and addressing growing customer needs for comprehensive RF solutions. Razor’s Edge is excited to share that our portfolio company, Proscia, has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. FDA for its Concentriq® AP-Dx platform. The Concentriq® AP-Dx platform is Proscia’s comprehensive diagnostic software solution designed to immerse pathologists in an intuitive experience for viewing, interpreting, and managing whole slide images, helping to drive efficiency gains, streamline collaboration, and broaden access to expertise. Concentriq® AP-Dx was designed to be used in clinical settings of all sizes, from individual reference laboratories to the largest hospital systems. In addition to its 510(k) clearance, Proscia was the first company to achieve CE-IVDR certification to advance primary diagnosis in the European Union. The company also has a product licensed in Canada and cleared in the United Kingdom among other countries. The 510(k) clears the Concentriq® platform for the purpose of primary diagnostics and further enhances Proscia’s work towards improving the pathologist experience and better serving patients. Razor's Edge portfolio company HawkEye 360 recently acquired RF Solutions, formerly Aurora Insights, from Maxar Intelligence. RF Solutions is a provider of secure, precise geospatial intelligence, and will add complementary geospatial expertise and two RF satellites currently in orbit, bringing HawkEye 360’s total constellation to 23 satellites. The acquisition of RF Solutions will also bolster HawkEye's industry leading RF capabilities and extend its frequency coverage to include 26-40 GHz. This broader range will accelerate HawkEye’s discovery of new signals and will allow the company to quickly scan gigahertz of bandwidth and efficiently map active frequencies at a regional level.    This acquisition further entrenches HawkEye as the world's leading defense technology company for space-based RF data and analytics and will expand its capacity to serve government intelligence users amidst increasing demands for RF intelligence. Razor's Edge portfolio company X-Bow Systems Inc. recently announced the closing of an interim funding round, led by Lockheed Martin Ventures and with significant participation from Razor's Edge and Crosslink Capital. The proceeds of this round will further advance X-Bow's SRM manufacturing technology and the company's gigafactory based in Luling, TX. This round follows on the heels of X-Bow's recently announced $64 million contract with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Policy, where the company will be providing rapid and cost efficient SRM production to the U.S. Army and Navy and further building up our nation's SRM manufacturing capacity.  Razor's Edge is delighted to provide financial and strategic support to X-Bow as the company continues to rapidly revolutionize the Solid Rocket Motor industrial base and deliver sorely-needed capabilities to the national security community.
