Today, we honor Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in American history marking the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. At Redwood, we recognize the importance of education in fostering understanding and empathy. Today, we encourage all our employees to reflect on the past and commit to learning and growth in support of a more equitable future. We are lucky to have Dayle as a #RedwoodAmbassador and we send our heartfelt congratulations her way! "I am writing to share my exceptional experience with one of your Neighborhood managers, Dayle Braden, at Redwood Apartments, Portage. As you know, I work on behalf of several insurance companies, assisting displaced homeowners in finding temporary housing, which can be a very stressful time for them. Last week, I received a claim for an elderly gentleman and his special needs adult daughter. I called Redwood Apartments to inquire about available units and was delighted to find several options. When I explained the situation to Dayle, she immediately arranged for them to visit the next day for a tour. Understanding that the gentleman was not tech-savvy and would have difficulty completing an online application, Dayle reassured me that she would personally guide him through the entire process at the office. True to her word, she walked him through everything and put his mind at ease with her incredible patience and compassion. This veteran, who lost his wife just two years ago, was treated with such kindness and understanding by Dayle. She even put Redwood's and my number on speed dial for him. Dayle’s dedication and outstanding service, marked by her unique qualities of patience and compassion, truly made a difference.
