On behalf of the SAME NJ Post, please join us in celebrating Earth Day next Friday, APR 19th, at our annual Coastal Resilience program! This year, we're excited to announce our first-ever oyster shooter happy hour, thanks to the Barnegat Oyster Collective. Don't miss out on high-level opportunities briefings by our federal and state partners, as well as an afternoon panel discussion on incorporating shellfish into resilient designs. Check out the agenda, speakers, and registration details at the link below. We still have sponsorship and exhibit space available, so register now to secure your spot. I hope to see you there! Renova teamed up with Riverlogic Solutions (https://lnkd.in/d_7R8ZjN) to begin the removal process of the Paulina Dam on the Paulins Kill. Enjoy this timelapse of the notching process, where we removed a small section of dam to lower the water level upstream. With an anticipated project completion in 2024, we are proud to be a part of this team and to support the dam removal initiative that is taking place nationwide.

Renova Environmental Company is proud to support the NJ Corporate Wetlands Restoration Partnership. This group has been providing crucial 'last mile' funding for restoration projects throughout the state for 20 years. Last week's meeting was a momentous occasion for the group, and it was a pleasure to attend. Look at all of those projects they have supported! Full press release: https://lnkd.in/d4z7rTi6

Throwback from Summer 2023 - We had a great time at the New Jersey Society of Women Environmental Professionals Annual Gala at The Boathouse at Mercer Lake this Summer. NJSWEP knows how to throw a party! It was a great evening of networking and chatting with our friends in the industry. Congratulations to the NJSWEP Growing Great Women in the Garden State 2023 Award Recipient Meredith Harris, PE and the 2023 Undergraduate Scholarship Awardees!

As of December, 2022, Renova is an employee-owned firm via our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which all of our full-time employees are automatically enrolled in, without contributing anything except their work! Some revealing statistics on ESOPs vs. non-ESOPs: • Employees of companies with an ESOP and a 401(k) have ~2.2 times more in their retirement accounts compared to companies with only a 401(k). • ESOP accounts are funded with an average 6 to 8% of annual pay, using only company money vs. 401(k) plans average only 4% of annual pay, using a company match to employees' contribution of their own money. • ESOPs lay people off about one-third as often as non-ESOP firms. • ESOP firms outperform their non-ESOP competitors in sales growth and employment growth. • Employees of ESOP firms have average higher wages and a higher household net worth. Have your contributions recognized with ownership! Renova is hiring and we're a financially rewarding, gratifying, and stable place to work. https://lnkd.in/eSjhjXHv https://lnkd.in/eDp5jjx2 https://lnkd.in/e5_FUejk https://lnkd.in/eX_Cpkd5 **Above statistics from https://lnkd.in/eCXXpKNF and https://lnkd.in/ejYdBfEJ
