STEBA hosted our second Professional event of the semester with the panel, “Music Business 101: The Expansion and Foundations of the Industry,” with insightful and engaging panelists, including Clayton Durant of CAD Management, Ghislaine León of Revolt TV & Media, Caitlyn Long of Sirius XM, Amanda Sherman of Spirit Music Group, and Dreyson Lozano of EP Entertainment. The panel discussed an overview of the music industry, including aspects of copyright and publishing, artist growth and discovery, branding strategy and marketing, and the various skills that can be used in the industry. We learned the importance of understanding current trends within the entertainment and music industries and how to navigate a career within this sector. A special thanks to our amazing panelists and Vice President of Professional Programming, Josh Kenny, for moderating the discussions. Thank you to our attendees for your engagement and questions.
