The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire... Helping families feel at Home— even when they can’t be. What is our mission- We believe when families are together, they cope better. We believe no family should have to deal with their child's medical crisis alone. The mission of RMHC of the Coastal Empire is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. For a hospitalized child and their families, it will be the most important House they will ever visit. The Ronald McDonald House Charities in Savannah, Georgia, helps families of seriously ill, hospitalized children cope with the stress and expense of daily living while trying to be close and emotionally strong for their child. More than just a room and a hot meal, the Ronald McDonald House is a “Home Away from Home” for families faced with a child’s medical crisis. Keeping Families Close is the true spirit of our mission.
